Josh and I were married on October 11, 2013. We had a beautiful fall wedding at a lodge close to home with about 130 of our closest friends and family. It was the perfect size for a wedding and we had a BBQ buffet and dessert bar along with smore's by the fire.
I spent a lot of thought and Pinterest idea executing into creating our wonderful wedding so I wanted to share some pictures!

Chalkboards were a major theme from the invitations to the favors! |

Neither Josh or I are huge dessert fans so a dessert bar including smore's were the perfect option! |
|
During the cocktail hour we had a popcorn bar with 6 different seasoning options that was a huge hit! |
|
Josh's dad passed away when he was younger, so my gift to him were cufflinks with his dad's picture in one and the words " Forever in our hearts" with our wedding date in the other.
They were one of the things I was most excited about :) |

I made the flowers for the bouquets and boutonnieres out of burlap and tulle. As much as I love fresh flowers these were fun to make and now will last forever! |
|
Rather than a unity candle or sand Josh and I actually tied a knot that I plan to put into a shadow box along with other pieces from our wedding. We loved how different it was and so did our guests! |
Our wedding ended up being on the last gorgeous and warm day in October here in the Midwest and we loved sharing such a special unity with the people that we love the most!
